Terms of Use

Governing your access to thangarajarts.com, fine art purchases, academy courses, and intellectual property rights.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Digital Storefront Access

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Collector", "Student", or "User") and Thangaraj Arts. By accessing thangarajarts.com, ordering artwork, enrolling in Academy classes, or acquiring DIY kits, you unconditionally agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright Notice

All creative content on this website—including original painting compositions, high-resolution artwork photographs, Tanjore gold relief designs, video masterclasses, lesson PDFs, brand trademarks, and literature—is the exclusive intellectual property of Master Artist Thangaraj / Thangaraj Arts, protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and international intellectual property conventions.

Collector Usage License: The purchase of an original artwork conveys ownership of the physical painting to the collector, but does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, or commercial licensing rights. Artwork may not be mechanically reproduced, printed, or digitized for commercial gain without explicit prior written authorization.

3. Pricing, GST & Currency Conversion

All prices displayed for patrons within India are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). For international patrons, dynamic currency converters provide approximate estimates; final checkout billing is processed securely via Razorpay in INR with live bank forex conversion.

4. Academy Enrollment & Code of Conduct

Students enrolled in Thangaraj Arts Academy masterclasses agree to maintain artistic decorum and respect faculty and peer artists during live interactive studio broadcasts. Course login credentials and downloadable video recordings are strictly personal and non-transferable.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Because all our artworks and DIY materials are handcrafted using natural pigments, genuine 24k gold leaf, and seasoned natural woods, minor variations in wood grain texture and gold leaf hammer relief are celebrated hallmarks of authentic craftsmanship.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Thangaraj Arts' total aggregate liability arising out of any order shall be strictly limited to the actual purchase price paid for the specific item in dispute.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
